The Goodness of God - Daily Devotional

Verse: Psalm 100:5 (NIV) - "For the Lord is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations." Devotional: Today, let us reflect on the profound truth that God is good. His goodness is not contingent on our circumstances, but it remains constant, unwavering, and eternal. In Psalm 100:5, we are reminded that the Lord's goodness is inseparable from His enduring love, and His faithfulness transcends generations. As you begin your day, consider the goodness of God in the light of your own life. Think about the moments when His goodness has been evident, whether through answered prayers, unexpected blessings, or moments of divine guidance. God's goodness surrounds us, and even in challenges, there is a purpose that unfolds through His love. In times of joy, acknowledge the goodness of God with gratitude. In times of trial, trust in His goodness, knowing that He works all things for the good of those who love Him (Romans 8:28). Take a ...

Complete Victory - Daily Devotional

Bible Verse: "But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ." - 1 Corinthians 15:57 (ESV) As Christians, we often face battles and struggles in our daily lives. We may encounter difficult circumstances or temptations that threaten to overwhelm us. However, we can take heart in knowing that through our faith in Jesus Christ, we have been given the promise of complete victory. In 1 Corinthians 15:57, Paul reminds us that our victory is not something we achieve through our own efforts or strength, but is a gift from God through Jesus Christ. Jesus has already won the ultimate victory over sin and death on the cross, and through our faith in Him, we are able to claim that victory in our own lives. This promise of complete victory is not just something we can look forward to in the future, but something we can experience in the present. When we face trials and difficulties, we can turn to Jesus and rely on His strength to carry us through. When we ...

He Answers Prayer: Daily Devotional

“In my distress I called upon the Lord, and cried unto my God: he heard my voice out of his temple, and my cry came before him, even into his ears.” Psalm 18:6 (KJV) The God we serve is a God who answers prayers. He knows our needs before we even ask Him for help. He instituted prayer after the downfall of mankind to give us the opportunity to fellowship with Him. No wonder our Lord Jesus Christ said that at all times we ought to pray and not give up or lose heart (Luke 18:1).  The psalmist cried out to God in his distress, and God heard him and attended to his needs. Dear beloved, don’t wait till you get into trouble before you pray. Pray every day at least three times a day (Psalm 55:17). Prayer is fellowship with your heavenly Father; it is not always about asking God to meet your needs. Pray for your community and your nation so that the will of God will be established. Pray in faith based on the Word of God, and God will attend to you. Hallelujah! God bless you! ©️...
