SPEAK GOD’S LANGUAGE: Daily Devotional

SPEAK GOD’S LANGUAGE: Daily Devotional

Which things also we speak, not in the words which man’s wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual (1 Corinthians 2:13).

At Galatians 4:1-2, the Bible says, “Now I say that while the heir is a child, he is no different from the servant, though he is lord of all things; but is under governors and governors until the time appointed by the Father.” An heir is one to whom an inheritance has been bequeathed, a rightful heir to a state or position of high authority and wealth.

However, as long as the heir is a child, this is no different than a servant. The word translated "child" is "nēpios", one who cannot speak properly or communicate wisely. One can be forty years old in Christianity and still be a “nēpios”; can't form the right words in the spirit realm.

Yes, the Word says that we are heirs of God and are united with them in Christ, but "Nepios" cannot live the life of an heir. 1 Corinthians 3:21 says, "...all things are thine"; but they suffer all their lives because they have not matured spiritually. They use wrong terms because they have never learned God's language.

The way to learn and speak God's language is to study and meditate on the Word of God. Our main verse says we must speak the words the Holy Spirit teaches, words of wisdom from the Spirit and through the Spirit. So train yourself in the Word of God and keep the Word in your heart and on your lips always, no matter the circumstances.

How Faith Comes - Teachings

How Faith Comes In the same way,  faith  comes  by hearing, and hearing by the  word  of God (Romans  10:17).     The  apostle  Paul gives us  a heavenly way  to increase our faith. This heavenly  growing belief  system is  God's  solution to our faith  problem. Whether  you  are struggling  to believe  in God's  Word or  contemplating  how to  build  your faith, this  prayer  will be  a revelation  for your next level of faith.    Before explaining how faith comes,  let’s  briefly review the current  state of the beliefs  of most Christians. As a believer and  pastor,  through personal struggles and  ministry  to other  believers, I have come to know  that we have faith  problems.  This  crisis of  faith is  paradoxical. Believers struggle  t...

Happiness - Daily Devotional

Bible Verse: "This is the day the Lord has made; We will rejoice and be glad in it." - Psalm 118:24 Happiness is something that we all desire and seek in our lives. It is a feeling of contentment, joy, and satisfaction. As Christians, we know that our ultimate source of happiness is God. However, sometimes in our daily lives, we can get caught up in the challenges and struggles we face, and we forget to be happy and grateful for what we have. The Bible verse above reminds us that every day is a gift from God, and we should rejoice and be glad in it. No matter what we may face in our daily lives, we can always find something to be grateful for and something to be happy about. It could be something as small as a beautiful sunrise, a kind word from a friend, or a moment of peace in our hearts. As Christians, we have the assurance that no matter what we face, God is with us, and He will never leave us or forsake us. This should bring us great joy and happiness, even in the mids...

WHO IS THE HOLY SPIRIT?: Daily Devotional

And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Comforter (Counselor, Helper, Intercessor, Advocate, Strengthener, and  Standby), that He may remain with you forever (John 14:16 AMPC). The Holy Spirit is not smoke or a cloud, nor is He a light. He's not a thing! The Holy Spirit is the third person of the Godhead. This is because He is the last of the Trinity known to us! In Genesis 1:1, God was introduced to us as “Elohim” (Hebrew). "Elohim" is the Hebrew plural for God. We are told in the second verse that "the Spirit of God hovered upon the face of the deep." Although the Holy Spirit is the first to be revealed from "Elohim", he is the last known to us because of what Jesus said to his disciples in John 14:16-17: "And I will pray the Father, and he will give you another comforter who will be with you forever; Even the spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive because it does not see him and does not know him, but you do know him; ...
