The Lord will provide: Daily Devotional

The Lord will provide: Daily Devotional

"And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus." - Philippians 4:19

As Christians, we can find comfort in the knowledge that the Lord will provide for us. Our God is a God of abundance, and He has promised to meet all our needs according to His riches in glory. This promise is not just for our physical needs, but also for our emotional, spiritual, and mental needs.

In times of hardship or uncertainty, it can be easy to worry about how we will make ends meet. We may struggle with anxiety, fear, and doubt about the future. But as we meditate on this promise from God, we can find peace in knowing that He is faithful to provide for us. We can trust in His unfailing love and care for His children.

God’s provision may not always come in the way we expect or desire, but we can be confident that it will always be what is best for us. Sometimes, God may use difficult circumstances to refine our character, deepen our faith, and draw us closer to Him. In those moments, we can hold on to the truth that God is using everything for our good and His glory.

As we navigate through the ups and downs of life, let us remember that our God is a provider who never fails. We can trust in Him to meet all our needs, and to work all things together for our good. Let us approach each day with faith and confidence, knowing that the Lord will provide for us.

Prayer:

Dear Lord, thank you for your promise to provide for us. Help us to trust in your unfailing love and care for us, even in times of uncertainty and hardship. May we find peace in knowing that you are faithful to meet all our needs according to your riches in glory. Guide us as we navigate through life, and help us to always remember that you are our provider and protector. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

WHO IS THE HOLY SPIRIT?: Daily Devotional

And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Comforter (Counselor, Helper, Intercessor, Advocate, Strengthener, and  Standby), that He may remain with you forever (John 14:16 AMPC). The Holy Spirit is not smoke or a cloud, nor is He a light. He's not a thing! The Holy Spirit is the third person of the Godhead. This is because He is the last of the Trinity known to us! In Genesis 1:1, God was introduced to us as “Elohim” (Hebrew). "Elohim" is the Hebrew plural for God. We are told in the second verse that "the Spirit of God hovered upon the face of the deep." Although the Holy Spirit is the first to be revealed from "Elohim", he is the last known to us because of what Jesus said to his disciples in John 14:16-17: "And I will pray the Father, and he will give you another comforter who will be with you forever; Even the spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive because it does not see him and does not know him, but you do know him; ...

With God All Things Are Possible - Daily Devotional

Bible Verse: Matthew 19:26 (NIV) - "Jesus looked at them and said, 'With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.'" In our journey of faith, we often encounter situations and challenges that seem insurmountable. We may face overwhelming circumstances, difficult decisions, or personal struggles that leave us feeling helpless and discouraged. However, as Christians, we are reminded of the powerful truth found in Matthew 19:26, where Jesus assures us that with God, all things are possible. This verse serves as a beautiful reminder that we are not alone in our trials. We serve a God who is mighty, capable, and faithful. His power knows no bounds, and He is able to do far more than we could ever imagine. It is easy for us to lose sight of this truth when we are faced with obstacles, but the Lord invites us to trust Him and lean on His strength. One of the ways we can apply this verse in our daily lives is by cultivating an attitude of surrender and d...
