He is Risen! - Daily Devotional

Bible Verse: "He is not here; he has risen! Remember how he told you, while he was still with you in Galilee: ‘The Son of Man must be delivered over to the hands of sinners, be crucified and on the third day be raised again.’” (Luke 24:6-7)

Reflection: The resurrection of Jesus Christ is the most significant event in the Christian faith. It's a testament to the power of God and the promise of eternal life for those who believe in Him. The Bible tells us that Jesus died on the cross for our sins and was buried, but on the third day, He rose from the dead, conquering death and sin.

As Christians, we celebrate the resurrection of Jesus because it is proof that our faith is not in vain. It is a reminder that God has the power to bring new life out of death and that we too can have eternal life through faith in Jesus Christ. The resurrection also gives us hope in the face of adversity and reminds us that no matter how difficult our circumstances may be, God is with us and will never leave us.

Application: The resurrection of Jesus Christ has many practical applications in the life of a Christian. Here are a few ways that we can apply the truth of the resurrection to our daily lives:

  1. We can live with confidence: Because Jesus has conquered death, we no longer have to fear it. We can live with the confidence that death has no power over us, and we can face life's challenges with courage and faith.
  2. We can have hope: The resurrection gives us hope that God can bring new life out of even the darkest situations. No matter what we may be facing, we can trust that God is at work and that He will bring about good in the end.
  3. We can share our faith: The resurrection is the foundation of our faith, and it is the reason that we have hope. As Christians, we should share this hope with others and tell them about the good news of Jesus Christ.

Prayer: Dear God, thank you for the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Thank you for the hope that it gives us and the confidence that we can have in you. Help us to live our lives in light of this truth and to share it with others who need to hear it. In Jesus' name, Amen.

With God All Things Are Possible - Daily Devotional

Bible Verse: Matthew 19:26 (NIV) - "Jesus looked at them and said, 'With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.'" In our journey of faith, we often encounter situations and challenges that seem insurmountable. We may face overwhelming circumstances, difficult decisions, or personal struggles that leave us feeling helpless and discouraged. However, as Christians, we are reminded of the powerful truth found in Matthew 19:26, where Jesus assures us that with God, all things are possible. This verse serves as a beautiful reminder that we are not alone in our trials. We serve a God who is mighty, capable, and faithful. His power knows no bounds, and He is able to do far more than we could ever imagine. It is easy for us to lose sight of this truth when we are faced with obstacles, but the Lord invites us to trust Him and lean on His strength. One of the ways we can apply this verse in our daily lives is by cultivating an attitude of surrender and d...

WHO IS THE HOLY SPIRIT?: Daily Devotional

And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Comforter (Counselor, Helper, Intercessor, Advocate, Strengthener, and  Standby), that He may remain with you forever (John 14:16 AMPC). The Holy Spirit is not smoke or a cloud, nor is He a light. He's not a thing! The Holy Spirit is the third person of the Godhead. This is because He is the last of the Trinity known to us! In Genesis 1:1, God was introduced to us as “Elohim” (Hebrew). "Elohim" is the Hebrew plural for God. We are told in the second verse that "the Spirit of God hovered upon the face of the deep." Although the Holy Spirit is the first to be revealed from "Elohim", he is the last known to us because of what Jesus said to his disciples in John 14:16-17: "And I will pray the Father, and he will give you another comforter who will be with you forever; Even the spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive because it does not see him and does not know him, but you do know him; ...

THE ENEMY IS BENEATH YOUR FEET: Daily Devotional

Then the seventy returned with joy, saying, “Lord, even the demons are subject to us in Your name.” And He said to them, “I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven. Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.”  - Luke 10:17–19 In Luke 10 we see our Lord Jesus sending out the seventy disciples like “the Lambs among wolves” into the kingdom of darkness. In today's Bible, look at the conversation the Seventy had with the Lord Jesus when he returned. Friends, the authority and authority our Lord Jesus gave them    is the authority and authority we believers have today! Romans 16:20 declares that the God of peace will crush Satan under our feet! He is a defeated enemy. The Bible is very consistent and always has the devil under his feet (Genesis 3:15; Ephesians 1:22). You are not swayed by enemy attacks. Don't put him on the pedestal as    he rules you....
