Palm Sunday - Daily Devotional

Palm Sunday - Daily Devotional

Palm Sunday is a significant day in the Christian calendar as it marks the beginning of Holy Week and commemorates Jesus' triumphant entry into Jerusalem. As we reflect on this day, let us consider how we can apply its lessons to our daily lives as Christians.

One Bible verse that comes to mind is found in Matthew 21:9, where it says, "The crowds that went ahead of him and those that followed shouted, 'Hosanna to the Son of David! Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord! Hosanna in the highest heaven!'" (NIV). This verse captures the excitement and joy that filled the hearts of the people who welcomed Jesus into Jerusalem. They recognized Him as their long-awaited Messiah and King.

As Christians, we too should welcome Jesus into our lives with joy and excitement. We should recognize Him as our Savior and King, and honor Him with our words and actions. We can do this by cultivating a daily habit of prayer, worship, and Bible study. By spending time in God's presence, we open our hearts to receive His love, guidance, and strength to face life's challenges.

Moreover, just as the people of Jerusalem laid down their palm branches before Jesus, we too should surrender our lives to Him. We should lay down our fears, worries, and doubts at His feet and trust in His plan for our lives. We should also strive to live a life of humility, putting others' needs before our own, and serving as Jesus did.

In conclusion, let us remember the significance of Palm Sunday as we begin Holy Week. Let us welcome Jesus into our lives with joy and excitement, lay down our burdens at His feet, and seek to live a life of humility and service. As we do this, may we experience the fullness of His love and grace, and draw closer to Him each day. Amen.

The Peace Of The Lord - Daily Devotional

“ Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. “ - John 14:27   - INSPIRATION - The good Lord we serve has promised us his peace. No matter what the enemy brings in our way, in this world, we still have the promise of our God. He will not leave us either forsaking us. So don't worry when you go through all manner of troubles and crises, He will deliver us from them all and give us eternal peace.  When you have no strength to fight your adversary the Lord will battle for you and you will hold your peace.  The Prince of peace is with us, for the mountains shall depart, and the hills be removed; but his kindness shall not depart from us, neither shall his covenant of peace be removed from his people. Our God is a covenant keeping God, he will not break his covenant with his people. The Almighty God has a covenant of peace with his people, and he will give us peace ...

HIS GRACE AT WORK IN YOU: Daily Devotional

And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work - (2 Corinthians 9:8). The Bible says, "And God abounds in every grace (every earthly favor and blessing)..." (2 Corinthians 9:8). This means that the Lord will show you grace. grace brings acceptability, honor, and dignity; Attract the right people, circumstances, and resources according to God's purpose for your life. Explain from time to time, “I walk and work in grace; Grace marks me out for glory and excellence. I am a child of grace. “ The Bible says to use the grace in Christ Jesus. With this grace you can be successful in every single endeavor. Note what we read in our theme verse; It says that God is able to make ALL grace abundant for you, and He did it in Christ Jesus.   The Bible says that we have all received grace upon grace of His fulness (John 1:16). Then Paul tells us the result of receiving this abundance and abunda...
