THE SPIRIT OF WISDOM: Daily Devotional

That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, and what is the exceeding greatness of His power toward us who believe, according to the working of His mighty power.- Ephesians 1:17–19

INSPIRATION

If God tells us that wisdom is of utmost importance, it is our duty to know and act on the "spirit of wisdom." But do you know what a "spirit of wisdom" is?

See the prayer (above) that the Apostle Paul prayed for the church at Ephesus. The spirit of wisdom and revelation resides in the knowledge of Jesus! The more you know Jesus and the more His undeserved grace becomes apparent in your life, the more you will have the spirit of wisdom. . We encourage you to pray this prayer regularly for wisdom. Because as you grow in your knowledge of Jesus, He will ensure your success in every aspect of your life.

Notice that when Paul prayed this prayer for the believers in Ephesus, they were already filled with the Holy Spirit. But Paul continued to pray that God would give them the spirit of wisdom and revelation to give them knowledge of Jesus. It is one thing to have the Holy Spirit indwelling you, and it is another  to have the Holy Spirit flowing into you  as a spirit of wisdom and revelation.

And as you pray today to be led by the Spirit of Wisdom, be assured that  the Holy Spirit will guide you in the divine and matchless wisdom of Jesus. When the Holy Spirit leads you to the wisdom of Jesus, there are no impossible situations, no insoluble problems, no insurmountable crises. The wisdom of Jesus within you will help you overcome all challenges and push you to overcome all  challenges!

The Goodness of God - Daily Devotional

Verse: Psalm 100:5 (NIV) - "For the Lord is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations." Devotional: Today, let us reflect on the profound truth that God is good. His goodness is not contingent on our circumstances, but it remains constant, unwavering, and eternal. In Psalm 100:5, we are reminded that the Lord's goodness is inseparable from His enduring love, and His faithfulness transcends generations. As you begin your day, consider the goodness of God in the light of your own life. Think about the moments when His goodness has been evident, whether through answered prayers, unexpected blessings, or moments of divine guidance. God's goodness surrounds us, and even in challenges, there is a purpose that unfolds through His love. In times of joy, acknowledge the goodness of God with gratitude. In times of trial, trust in His goodness, knowing that He works all things for the good of those who love Him (Romans 8:28). Take a ...

Overflowing Blessings - Daily Devotional

Verse of the Day: Psalm 23:5 (NIV) "You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows." Devotional:   As Christians, we are recipients of God's overflowing blessings. Just as a cup overflows when filled to its brim, God's blessings pour into our lives abundantly. In Psalm 23, we see a vivid picture of God's provision and care. The verse reminds us that even in the midst of challenges and adversities, God prepares a table for us, symbolizing His constant provision and protection. God's blessings go beyond our needs. They overflow into every area of our lives—our relationships, work, health, and spiritual growth. But how can we position ourselves to receive these overflowing blessings? 1. Gratitude: Expressing gratitude for what we have opens the door for more blessings. When we appreciate the little things, God honors our thankful hearts. Verse: 1 Thessalonians 5:18 (NIV) "Give thanks in all circu...

Occupy Till I Come : Teachings

And he called his ten servants, and delivered them ten pounds, and said unto them, Occupy till I come (Lk. 19:13 KJV) Living for God and working for God are two sides of the same coin. God has    life for us to live and work. A healthy relationship with God is a necessary foundation, but the Lord also works on earth. He wants us to    actively participate in it. Therefore, loving Jesus, living a holy life, or attending a large church is not enough. We must be actively involved in my father's business. The parable of a nobleman distributing his money to his servants reveals how God feels about our involvement in activities that promote His interests on earth. In this parable, a nobleman distributed his property to his servants and went to a faraway land. Before leaving, however, he ordered his servants to "occupy until I come." His orders made clear his expectations: he wanted the servants to do something with what they had received.  The terms used in thi...
