THE POWER OF THE BLOOD: Daily Devotional

THE POWER OF THE BLOOD: Daily Devotional

“And when I see the blood, I will pass over you; and the plague shall not be on you to destroy you when I strike the land of Egypt. - Exodus 12:13

INSPIRATION

Did you know that before the Passover, God promised that if the Israelites saw the  blood of the lamb on the gatepost, they would be saved from destruction? When the angel of death passed through the land, all those who trembled with fear among the children of Israel needlessly did so. They were saved not because they were Israelites or because they did good deeds or anything. The only thing that saved them was the blood of the lamb.

You may be feeling uneasy because you found an abnormality in your last health checkup. Or maybe some of your relatives died of a particular disease and you worry that you might be next. Friend, know that you need not fear, for you have been saved by the shed blood of the  Lamb of true God who takes away the sins of the world (John 1:29).

If you are a believer, you can stand at the gatepost of your life and put your trust  in the  blood of the King that flows through the veins  of Immanuel. washed you away from all your sins. It is not because of your good deeds that you are completely forgiven, but because of his blood (Ephesians 1:7). Rest with the dead lamb for you on Calvary!

Stop excluding yourself from his healing because of the mistakes in your life. Stop believing the  lies of your enemies that you are undeserving of healing because you have erred or not attended church enough. When God sees you, He sees no faults or weaknesses in you. He only sees his son because you are in Christ.

Because you are in Christ, you are fully accepted by the Beloved (Ephesians 1:6) and have already received all your spiritual blessings (Ephesians 1:3). This means that even if you have symptoms in your body, God sees you as healed.Start seeing yourself as God sees you each time you receive communion. See yourself healed, whole, and full of divine power and life.

Every time we receive the cup of the New Covenant in his blood (1 Corinthians 11:25), we should know that Jesus' blood under the New Covenant "speaks better" than Abel's blood. (Heb.12:24). .Abel's blood cried vengeance (Genesis 4:10). The blood of Jesus  cries out for your redemption (Ephesians 1:7; 1 Peter 1:18 -19), justification (Romans 5:9),  victory over your enemies (Revelation 12:11), and more. more!

What are the 5 ways of knowing God? - Bible Teachings

Sure, I'd be happy to provide you with some Bible teachings on the topic of knowing God. There are various ways through which we can know God, and here are five of them explained in detail with relevant Bible verses: Through Creation: The natural world around us reveals the glory and power of God. Bible Verse: Psalm 19:1 - "The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands." Through His Word (Scripture): The Bible is God's written revelation of Himself and His will. Bible Verse: 2 Timothy 3:16 - "All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting, and training in righteousness." Through Prayer: Communicating with God and seeking His presence helps us know Him intimately. Bible Verse: Philippians 4:6-7 - "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, wi...

With God All Things Are Possible - Daily Devotional

Bible Verse: Matthew 19:26 (NIV) - "Jesus looked at them and said, 'With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.'" In our journey of faith, we often encounter situations and challenges that seem insurmountable. We may face overwhelming circumstances, difficult decisions, or personal struggles that leave us feeling helpless and discouraged. However, as Christians, we are reminded of the powerful truth found in Matthew 19:26, where Jesus assures us that with God, all things are possible. This verse serves as a beautiful reminder that we are not alone in our trials. We serve a God who is mighty, capable, and faithful. His power knows no bounds, and He is able to do far more than we could ever imagine. It is easy for us to lose sight of this truth when we are faced with obstacles, but the Lord invites us to trust Him and lean on His strength. One of the ways we can apply this verse in our daily lives is by cultivating an attitude of surrender and d...

A Good Shepherd - Daily Devotional

Bible Verse: Psalm 23:1 (NIV) - "The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing." As believers in Christ, we have the privilege of being led by the ultimate Good Shepherd, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. The analogy of a shepherd and his sheep is a powerful and comforting image used throughout the Bible to depict the relationship between God and His people. Today, let us reflect on Psalm 23:1 and explore how we can apply the qualities of a Good Shepherd in our lives as Christians. The verse begins with a profound declaration: "The Lord is my shepherd." This simple statement encapsulates the essence of our faith. We acknowledge God as our Shepherd, recognizing His authority, provision, guidance, and protection over our lives. It signifies our willingness to submit to His leading and trust in His care. Just as sheep depend on their shepherd for sustenance and guidance, we can rely on God to meet our needs and direct our paths. "I lack nothing." These words spea...
