GIVE ATTENTION TO THE ONE THING NEEDFUL: Daily Devotional

 But one thing is needful: and Mary hath chosen that good part, which shall not be taken away from her - (Luke 10:42).


There’re folks that get so over excited with their paintings and different sports that they lose recognition of what simply matters—the Word! They get so preoccupied withinside the many sports that they don’t have time to fellowship, observe and meditate at the Word. That’s wrong!


The Word of God is your meals for lifestyles. 1 Peter 1:23 says, “Being born again, now no longer of corruptible seed, however of incorruptible, via way of means of the phrase of God, which liveth and abideth forever.” You have been born of the Word and may handiest be sustained via way of means of the Word. 1 Peter 2:2 says, “As new child babes, choice the honest milk of the phrase that ye may also develop thereby.”


True and lasting fulfillment comes from aware meditation at the Word of God: “This Book of the Law shall now no longer leave from your mouth, however you shall meditate on it day and night, that you could take a look at and do consistent with all this is written in it. For then you definitely shall make your manner prosperous, and then you definitely shall deal accurately and feature excellent fulfillment” (Joshua 1:eight AMPC).


When the Lord Jesus counselled Martha in Luke 10, He turned into unequivocal in letting her realize what to prioritize: the Word! He said, “…Martha, Martha, thou artwork cautious and stricken approximately many things: But one factor is needful: and Mary hath selected that excellent part, which shall now no longer be taken farfar from her” (Luke 10:41-42).

No surprise the Spirit says to us in Colossians 3:sixteen AMPC, “Let the phrase [spoken by] Christ (the Messiah) have its home [in your hearts and minds] and live in you in [all its] richness, as you educate and admonish and educate each other in all perception and intelligence and
wisdom [in spiritual things, and as you sing] psalms and hymns and religious songs, making melody to God with [His] grace for your hearts.”


Give interest to the Word and fellowship with the Holy Spirit! Spend best time in prayer, each day; you’ll enjoy such peace and prosperity—such advantages and glory for your lifestyles which you in no way idea possible. Hallelujah!
