THE WORD IMPARTS FAITH: Daily Devotional

THE WORD IMPARTS FAITH: Daily Devotional

 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God (Romans 10:17).

The Word of God imparts faith. You may have noticed that sometimes when you sit down to hear or study God's word, your spirit fills with energy. In those moments, all the challenges you've ever faced suddenly seem like nothing. This is because, right now, the Word you are receiving is stirring faith in your heart.

The Word of God is spiritual; therefore it is even more real than the physical things that your senses perceive.

Therefore, when you receive the Word in your spirit, a spiritual reaction is ignited between your spirit and the Word of God, giving you dominion over the circumstances.

When that reaction occurs , faith grows in you like a giant and you are sure of victory. Even if you thought your faith was small or small, Jesus said that a small faith can make a big difference; it can literally move a mountain (Matthew 21:21). Or maybe you're thinking, "I have no faith";
, our opening verse tells us how to get there: Faith comes by hearing and hearing through the Word of God.

Whenever you think you don't have enough faith, it says it's time is to listen more. from the Word of God.

The Word will necessarily give you faith; it is a principle of the kingdom of God. You don't have to fight for it; as you heed God's word, faith will come to you.

This reminds me of a certain young man who came to one of our meetings years ago. He came in and said he didn't believe and wouldn't believe anything we shared. However, his friends convinced him to come.

So he sat in the meeting and tried not to believe it. But he "heard" the message (remember, faith comes by hearing).

Later, when I spoke to him, he said, "I sort of accepted things that you shared ; I believe everything you said. He couldn't escape because faith comes when you hear the word! Hallelujah!

The Goodness of God - Daily Devotional

  Verse: Psalm 100:5 (NIV) - "For the Lord is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations." Devotional: Today, let us reflect on the profound truth that God is good. His goodness is not contingent on our circumstances, but it remains constant, unwavering, and eternal. In Psalm 100:5, we are reminded that the Lord's goodness is inseparable from His enduring love, and His faithfulness transcends generations. As you begin your day, consider the goodness of God in the light of your own life. Think about the moments when His goodness has been evident, whether through answered prayers, unexpected blessings, or moments of divine guidance. God's goodness surrounds us, and even in challenges, there is a purpose that unfolds through His love. In times of joy, acknowledge the goodness of God with gratitude. In times of trial, trust in His goodness, knowing that He works all things for the good of those who love Him (Romans 8:28). Take a ...

Overflowing Blessings - Daily Devotional

  Verse of the Day: Psalm 23:5 (NIV) "You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows." Devotional:   As Christians, we are recipients of God's overflowing blessings. Just as a cup overflows when filled to its brim, God's blessings pour into our lives abundantly. In Psalm 23, we see a vivid picture of God's provision and care. The verse reminds us that even in the midst of challenges and adversities, God prepares a table for us, symbolizing His constant provision and protection. God's blessings go beyond our needs. They overflow into every area of our lives—our relationships, work, health, and spiritual growth. But how can we position ourselves to receive these overflowing blessings? 1. Gratitude: Expressing gratitude for what we have opens the door for more blessings. When we appreciate the little things, God honors our thankful hearts. Verse: 1 Thessalonians 5:18 (NIV) "Give thanks in all circu...

Walking By Faith - Daily Devotional

Verse: "For we walk by faith, not by sight." - 2 Corinthians 5:7 (ESV) Devotional: As Christians, our journey is one of faith. We are called to walk by faith, not by what we see or understand with our natural senses. This can be both a challenging and a rewarding path. Walking by faith means trusting in God's promises even when circumstances seem uncertain or difficult. It means believing that God's plan is greater than our understanding. Imagine walking in a dense fog, unable to see more than a few steps ahead. In life, we often face situations where we can't see the road ahead clearly. It's during these moments that our faith is put to the test. But just as a person walking in the fog relies on each step they take, we can rely on God with every step we take in our faith journey. The Bible tells us that faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen (Hebrews 11:1). It's like having a confident assurance in God's promises e...
