YOU HAVE ALL THINGS IN HIM: Daily Devotional

YOU HAVE ALL THINGS IN HIM: Daily Devotional

To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory (Colossians 1:27).

The essence of Christianity, the glory and joy of all that Jesus came to is Christ in you. Christ in you is everything. Christ in you is Heaven in you; there is divinity in you. Now that you have Christ, you have everything. No wonder Paul said, "So let no man boast. For everything is yours” (1 Corinthians 3:21). Hallelujah!

Here is something remarkable to ponder: Romans 6:23 says, "...the gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord." This is a fundamental truth of the gospel. However, as you progress in understanding the gospel, you will discover that Jesus does not really stand apart and give you eternal life; He Himself is Eternal Life. By giving you eternal life, he actually gave himself. Hallelujah.

The moment you accept this reality, it will change the way you think and pray. You would stop asking God for things. If it is true that you have Christ (and thank God you do), what do you need? Christ is everything, and everything is in Christ.

Stop asking God for what you already have in Christ.

For example, don't ask God for healing; take divine health, for it is your nature in Christ Jesus. The victorious life is yours in Christ. Everything you need for an extraordinary life of glory and righteousness is already yours in Christ (2 Peter 1:3).

Now you can understand why the Lord Jesus said in Luke 12:22, “…Do not worry about your life, what you will eat; nor for the body, what shall you wear?” It is your sufficiency; in Him you have all things. Hallelujah!

The Goodness of God - Daily Devotional

Verse: Psalm 100:5 (NIV) - "For the Lord is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations." Devotional: Today, let us reflect on the profound truth that God is good. His goodness is not contingent on our circumstances, but it remains constant, unwavering, and eternal. In Psalm 100:5, we are reminded that the Lord's goodness is inseparable from His enduring love, and His faithfulness transcends generations. As you begin your day, consider the goodness of God in the light of your own life. Think about the moments when His goodness has been evident, whether through answered prayers, unexpected blessings, or moments of divine guidance. God's goodness surrounds us, and even in challenges, there is a purpose that unfolds through His love. In times of joy, acknowledge the goodness of God with gratitude. In times of trial, trust in His goodness, knowing that He works all things for the good of those who love Him (Romans 8:28). Take a ...

Overflowing Blessings - Daily Devotional

Verse of the Day: Psalm 23:5 (NIV) "You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows." Devotional:   As Christians, we are recipients of God's overflowing blessings. Just as a cup overflows when filled to its brim, God's blessings pour into our lives abundantly. In Psalm 23, we see a vivid picture of God's provision and care. The verse reminds us that even in the midst of challenges and adversities, God prepares a table for us, symbolizing His constant provision and protection. God's blessings go beyond our needs. They overflow into every area of our lives—our relationships, work, health, and spiritual growth. But how can we position ourselves to receive these overflowing blessings? 1. Gratitude: Expressing gratitude for what we have opens the door for more blessings. When we appreciate the little things, God honors our thankful hearts. Verse: 1 Thessalonians 5:18 (NIV) "Give thanks in all circu...

Walking By Faith - Daily Devotional

Verse: "For we walk by faith, not by sight." - 2 Corinthians 5:7 (ESV) Devotional: As Christians, our journey is one of faith. We are called to walk by faith, not by what we see or understand with our natural senses. This can be both a challenging and a rewarding path. Walking by faith means trusting in God's promises even when circumstances seem uncertain or difficult. It means believing that God's plan is greater than our understanding. Imagine walking in a dense fog, unable to see more than a few steps ahead. In life, we often face situations where we can't see the road ahead clearly. It's during these moments that our faith is put to the test. But just as a person walking in the fog relies on each step they take, we can rely on God with every step we take in our faith journey. The Bible tells us that faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen (Hebrews 11:1). It's like having a confident assurance in God's promises e...
