Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid (John 14:27).
I wish to God that everyone in the world would understand the magnitude and meaning of the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ! Before His vicarious sacrifice for us, the Bible says that we were "...strangers from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers
from the covenants of promise, without hope, and without God in the world" (Ephesians 2:12). . ). We were enemies of God.
But thank God! Romans 5:10 says he reconciled us to himself through the death of Jesus Christ in.
Ephesians 2:13-18 says, “But now you who were once far off have been brought near in Christ Jesus through the blood of Christ. For he is our peace, which made us both one and tore down the middle wall of separation between us; Having abolished in his flesh the enmities, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; to make within oneself a unique and new man, and thus to make peace; and reconcile both to God in one body through the cross, and kill the enmity therein; For through him we both have access to the Father through one Spirit." Hallelujah!
Jesus paid the price and brought us to peace and unity with the Father.
No wonder Paul declares in Romans 5:1, "Therefore, through our Lord Jesus Christ, being justified by faith, we have peace with God." The word "peace" comes from the Greek "Eirene". Describes the end of hostilities. It means to be atoned for.
Through Jesus Christ you have become one with God; you came to his house!
There is no need to live in fear of court; Jesus has already taken the penalty for your sins. Isaiah 53:5 says, "...the chastisement of our peace was upon him...". Hallelujah!
