CONNECT WITH YOUR FAITH: Daily Devotional

CONNECT WITH YOUR FAITH: Daily Devotional

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ (Ephesians 1:3).

The apostle Paul let us know in our opening verse that we have been blessed with all spiritual blessings in Christ. He reinforces the idea at 1 Corinthians 3:21 when he says, "...all things are thine." Similarly, the apostle Peter tells us that "...the divine power hath given us all things of life and godliness..." (2 Peter 1:3 NIV).

It is one thing to know that you have been blessed with and in all things, but it is quite another to actually own the blessings.

The key is to connect with your faith; this is what Abraham did.

In Genesis 17:5 NIV God said to him: “…I have made you the father of many nations.” Abraham associated with his faith; it had to do with his mind's eye.

The Bible says that Abraham believed God and it was credited to him for righteousness. He believed because he visualized the reality of his children while trying to count the stars (Genesis 15:5). By faith he saw and accepted the reality of God's Word in his spirit, spoke it and it happened. Romans 4:20-22 says: “He doubted not the promise of God through unbelief; but he was strengthened in faith, and gave glory to God; And firmly convinced that he could keep what he had promised. And therefore it was imputed to him for righteousness.”

Learn to visualize and record God's provision for you in Christ Jesus. Refuse to waver from unbelief in God's Word; Take control of your blessings in your mind first and speak them forward.

The Peace Of The Lord - Daily Devotional

“ Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid. “ - John 14:27   - INSPIRATION - The good Lord we serve has promised us his peace. No matter what the enemy brings in our way, in this world, we still have the promise of our God. He will not leave us either forsaking us. So don't worry when you go through all manner of troubles and crises, He will deliver us from them all and give us eternal peace.  When you have no strength to fight your adversary the Lord will battle for you and you will hold your peace.  The Prince of peace is with us, for the mountains shall depart, and the hills be removed; but his kindness shall not depart from us, neither shall his covenant of peace be removed from his people. Our God is a covenant keeping God, he will not break his covenant with his people. The Almighty God has a covenant of peace with his people, and he will give us peace ...

HIS GRACE AT WORK IN YOU: Daily Devotional

And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work - (2 Corinthians 9:8). The Bible says, "And God abounds in every grace (every earthly favor and blessing)..." (2 Corinthians 9:8). This means that the Lord will show you grace. grace brings acceptability, honor, and dignity; Attract the right people, circumstances, and resources according to God's purpose for your life. Explain from time to time, “I walk and work in grace; Grace marks me out for glory and excellence. I am a child of grace. “ The Bible says to use the grace in Christ Jesus. With this grace you can be successful in every single endeavor. Note what we read in our theme verse; It says that God is able to make ALL grace abundant for you, and He did it in Christ Jesus.   The Bible says that we have all received grace upon grace of His fulness (John 1:16). Then Paul tells us the result of receiving this abundance and abunda...

PRAY ALWAYS IN THE SPIRIT: Daily Devotional

Praying always with all prayer and supplication  in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all  perseverance and supplication for all saints  (Ephesians 6:18). Prayer always means being in constant communication and communion with the Lord; it's always going on. This is what the Lord directs us to do; He wants us to communicate with him at all times. It is a continuous communication of spiritual intelligence, giving us constant information to give us an advantage. The Amplified Classical version of our opening verse reads, "Pray at all times (on all occasions). ) , at all times) in the spirit, with every [kind of] prayer and supplication…”. Praying in the Spirit therefore becomes an accompaniment to all other types of prayer. Whether it is the prayer of faith, the prayer of intercession, whatever the type of prayer, praying in the Spirit should be a part of it. In 1 Corinthians 14 :14- 15 Paul said, “For when I pray in an unknown tongue, my spirit prays, bu...
