IT IS ALL ABOUT JESUS: Daily Devotional

“He Himself took our infirmities and bore our sicknesses.” - Matthew 8:17

  INSPIRATION

This verse may be familiar, Isaiah 53:4, which says, “Surely He has borne our griefs and carried our sorrows.” but notice how the author of  Matthew quoted it from today's Bible verse.

I love the word self because it is so personal and  intimate. Because He Himself bore our sicknesses and  infirmities. He wasn't an angel. Your health and integrity were so important to him that he Himself bore all your sicknesses and infirmities.

Spend some time thinking about the word "Himself." Take the time to remember the One who suffered and died for you,  who took on your infirmities and carried your diseases so that you do not have to bear them. Jesus Himself did this because you are so precious to Him.

Regardless of the condition diagnosed by the doctors, Jesus himself removed it from his own body. Don't focus on finding healing; focus on  Jesus himself. Focus on the One “who himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, so that we, who died to our sins, might live for righteousness—that you have been healed of whose stripes” (1 Peter 2:24).

Many times your fears and worries simply melt away as you seek Him and  spend time in His presence. You will find the peace of Shalom in His presence. There is healing. There is sincerity. And once you find the symptoms, you don't look for  them anymore. why? Because you are present with the healer.

When God said to the Israelites, “I am the Lord who heals you” (Exodus 15:26), He introduced himself as Jehovah Rapha . He doesn't say, "I'll give you healing" or "I'll give you health." He said I am your healing and I am your health. When you touch Jesus, you touch healing. He doesn't heal like that's a thing. He gives himself.

You do not need to seek  healing, provision and protection. Once you have Jesus, you have all you need. If there is a dead zone in your body, the Lord says to you, "I am the resurrection and the life" (John 11:25). If the doctors tell you that you will die young, God says to you, "I am your life and the length of your days" (Deuteronomy 30:20). If you receive a negative diagnosis and you are afraid, God tells you, “Do not be afraid. I am your shield” (Genesis 15:1). If you are faced with failure after failure and  discouragement overwhelms you, God will say, "I am your strength and your song" (Exodus 15:2)!

What is the favor of God, and how can I get it? - Bible Teachings

The concept of the favor of God is found throughout the Bible, and it generally refers to God's kindness, grace, and blessings bestowed upon individuals. Here are some key teachings on the favor of God and how to attain it: 1. Seek God's Will: Proverbs 3:5-6 advises us to trust in the Lord with all our hearts and not rely on our understanding. When we seek and align ourselves with God's will, we are more likely to receive His favor. 2. Humility: The Bible often emphasizes the importance of humility. In James 4:6, it is said that God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble. Humility opens the way for God's favor in our lives. 3. Faith: Hebrews 11:6 teaches that without faith, it's impossible to please God. Trusting in God's promises and having faith in His goodness can attract His favor. 4. Obedience: God's favor is often linked to obedience to His commandments. Deuteronomy 28:1-2 states that if we diligently obey the voice of the Lord, H

His Plans Are Good - Daily Devotional

Verse: Jeremiah 29:11 (NIV) "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." Devotional: Today, let us take comfort in the assurance that our heavenly Father has plans for us, plans that are filled with goodness and hope. It's easy to become anxious or uncertain about the future, but God's Word reminds us that His intentions for our lives are nothing short of remarkable. In Jeremiah 29:11, we discover a promise that speaks directly to our hearts. God is not a distant observer of our lives; He is intimately involved, and His plans for us are purposeful. Even when circumstances appear challenging, we can trust that God's intentions are for our ultimate well-being. In times of uncertainty, we often question what the future holds. However, God invites us to place our trust in Him, the One who knows the end from the beginning. As we do so, we can find peace in the know

Walking By Faith - Daily Devotional

Verse: "For we walk by faith, not by sight." - 2 Corinthians 5:7 (ESV) Devotional: As Christians, our journey is one of faith. We are called to walk by faith, not by what we see or understand with our natural senses. This can be both a challenging and a rewarding path. Walking by faith means trusting in God's promises even when circumstances seem uncertain or difficult. It means believing that God's plan is greater than our understanding. Imagine walking in a dense fog, unable to see more than a few steps ahead. In life, we often face situations where we can't see the road ahead clearly. It's during these moments that our faith is put to the test. But just as a person walking in the fog relies on each step they take, we can rely on God with every step we take in our faith journey. The Bible tells us that faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen (Hebrews 11:1). It's like having a confident assurance in God's promises e
