THE ENEMY IS BENEATH YOUR FEET: Daily Devotional

THE ENEMY IS BENEATH YOUR FEET: Daily Devotional

Then the seventy returned with joy, saying, “Lord, even the demons are subject to us in Your name.” And He said to them, “I saw Satan fall like lightning from heaven. Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.” - Luke 10:17–19

In Luke 10 we see our Lord Jesus sending out the seventy disciples like “the Lambs among wolves” into the kingdom of darkness. In today's Bible, look at the conversation the Seventy had with the Lord Jesus when he returned. Friends, the authority and authority our Lord Jesus gave them  is the authority and authority we believers have today!

Romans 16:20 declares that the God of peace will crush Satan under our feet! He is a defeated enemy. The Bible is very consistent and always has the devil under his feet (Genesis 3:15; Ephesians 1:22). You are not swayed by enemy attacks. Don't put him on the pedestal as  he rules you. Remember that in Christ you are “higher than all principalities and might and might and dominion” (Ephesians 1:21), and you will trample down every lion and serpent!

Today, as believers, we use our authority when attacking our enemies. How do I do this? We wield the sword of the Spirit,  the Word of God! Our authority, our strength, and our victory are in His Word.

See how the Bible describes the armor of God. Above all else, have the shield of faith. It is able to put out all the fiery arrows of the evil one. Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God” (Ephesians 6:14-17).

Do you see the sword of the Spirit,  the Word of God, being the only offensive element of the armor? So whenever the devil attacks our Lord Jesus, we fight it with the sword of the Holy Spirit. He used the written Word of God.

The prayer of protection in Psalm 90 is praying according to the word of God and wielding the sword of the Holy Spirit. So, no matter what reports come to you from doctors, bankers, and the  media, sit in a position of authority and follow the scriptures that fit your circumstances. Fight against with the word of God!

He Will Lift You Up - Daily Devotional

Bible Verse: Psalm 34:18-19 (NIV) - "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. The righteous person may have many troubles, but the Lord delivers him from them all." Devotional: Life is full of trials and challenges that can weigh us down and leave us feeling broken and weary. In moments of despair, it's reassuring to know that our Heavenly Father is always by our side, ready to lift us up and provide solace to our wounded spirits. Psalm 34:18-19 reminds us that the Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. It's a comforting thought that even in our lowest moments, God's presence is a source of strength and refuge. He sees our pain and is moved by our struggles, offering a hand to lift us from the depths of despair. As Christians, we can find hope and encouragement in God's promises. When life's troubles seem overwhelming, we can turn to Him in prayer and seek His comfort. Just as...

Make Time for God: Daily Devotional

“Give ear to my words, O Lord, consider my meditation. Hearken unto the voice of my cry, my King, and my God: for unto thee will I pray. My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O Lord; in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up.” Psalms 5:1-3 (KJV) Making enough time each day to meet with God is sure to lead to your breakthrough. There was something King David did that help him to enjoying victory from time to time. It was about the quality of time spent with God. He spent time in fellowship with God in the mornings, meditating on God's Word. There were times when he prayed three times a day (Psalm 55:17). My beloved, do not rush to work or any activity in the morning without first praying. A Christian's prayer life is his lifeline; The moment you stop praying, you begin to die (Luke 18:1). You cannot succeed by your own grace or power; Therefore, make time to pray and meditate on the Word of God, and God will cause you to walk in victory and en...

Jesus Is the Answer: Daily Devotional

“For all the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us.” 2 Corinthians 1:20 (KJV) Knowing how to walk with God brings happiness to the Christian life. There are many more promises made to us in Scripture than we can really use in this life: promises of peace, eternal life, joy, fertility, family, wealth, prosperity, health, prosperity, etc God always plans and wills what is best for us; all his promises are true, yea, and complete in Christ Jesus (Ephesians 1:3). “Because every single promise of God in him is 'yes.' That's why we also say "Amen" through him  to the glory of God.  ” 2 Corinthians 1:20 (CSB). Beloved, the only way to partake of God's promises is to accept Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Savior, to abide in Him, and to fellowship with To have the . Now that you are born again, it is your responsibility to search the Scriptures in search of these promises; he knows the conditions involved, fulfills the con...
