Trust in the Lord with All Thine Heart: Daily Devotional

Trust in the Lord with All Thine Heart: Daily Devotional

Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. (Proverbs 3:5 KJV)

- INSPIRATION -

Why has God commanded us not to rely on our own understanding, but to trust Him wholeheartedly? The answer is simple.

There is a way which seems right to a man and appears straight before him, but at the end of it is the way of death.” (Proverbs 14:12 AMPC)

Are there any of us who haven't suffered the consequences of making a wrong decision? Remember, there are things we are  sure of before deciding what to do. But when a choice is made and the verdict of the outcome is in front of you, the outcome can bite like a viper or stink like a rotten egg. That is why the Lord commands us to trust  Him to save us from ourselves.

Trusting the Lord means relying on, trusting, or relying on His wisdom to guide us in life. When we trust  Him, we try to understand what He is saying and use His words and wisdom to guide our lives. An example of trust is perhaps the noblest form of human trust, trust in Jesus as  Savior.  Christianity has no meaning to the natural human mind, but we are totally dependent on what God tells us about sin, sinners, heaven, hell, Satan, etc.

But trust in God is not limited to salvation. It often has to do with the  decisions we make every day, such as who to marry, start a ministry, make a financial move, move a family member, or make a business decision. I have. Know what God says  in our lives. Sometimes that trust is expressed simply by praying and asking God for guidance.

Trusting God and not relying on our own understanding does not mean that we are stupid or intellectually helpless. The reason is much more complicated. Because the corrupt human mind is evil, deceitful, and cunning. It is  the  deceptive enemy of the darkness within, closer than Satan, the deceiver  without. On this point, Jeremiah says:

The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?” (Jeremiah 17:9 KJV)

So when God commands us to trust  Him, His main purpose is to save us from ourselves. And how many of you have ever felt  that  life was over without it and that you would later get it  and discover it wasn't what you thought it was? (heart)?

We  often find ourselves believing lies, justifying bad motives, ignoring red flags, taking advantage of potential gains, and giving our opinion more than US intelligence agencies protect the US President. Protecting is such an expert. Heal your heart and let him spare you many heartaches and headaches. Even if we are Christians, the only way to escape the deception of our hearts is to keep them under the  influence of the Spirit at all times. That's it.

What is the favor of God, and how can I get it? - Bible Teachings

The concept of the favor of God is found throughout the Bible, and it generally refers to God's kindness, grace, and blessings bestowed upon individuals. Here are some key teachings on the favor of God and how to attain it: 1. Seek God's Will: Proverbs 3:5-6 advises us to trust in the Lord with all our hearts and not rely on our understanding. When we seek and align ourselves with God's will, we are more likely to receive His favor. 2. Humility: The Bible often emphasizes the importance of humility. In James 4:6, it is said that God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble. Humility opens the way for God's favor in our lives. 3. Faith: Hebrews 11:6 teaches that without faith, it's impossible to please God. Trusting in God's promises and having faith in His goodness can attract His favor. 4. Obedience: God's favor is often linked to obedience to His commandments. Deuteronomy 28:1-2 states that if we diligently obey the voice of the Lord, H

His Plans Are Good - Daily Devotional

Verse: Jeremiah 29:11 (NIV) "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." Devotional: Today, let us take comfort in the assurance that our heavenly Father has plans for us, plans that are filled with goodness and hope. It's easy to become anxious or uncertain about the future, but God's Word reminds us that His intentions for our lives are nothing short of remarkable. In Jeremiah 29:11, we discover a promise that speaks directly to our hearts. God is not a distant observer of our lives; He is intimately involved, and His plans for us are purposeful. Even when circumstances appear challenging, we can trust that God's intentions are for our ultimate well-being. In times of uncertainty, we often question what the future holds. However, God invites us to place our trust in Him, the One who knows the end from the beginning. As we do so, we can find peace in the know

Walking By Faith - Daily Devotional

Verse: "For we walk by faith, not by sight." - 2 Corinthians 5:7 (ESV) Devotional: As Christians, our journey is one of faith. We are called to walk by faith, not by what we see or understand with our natural senses. This can be both a challenging and a rewarding path. Walking by faith means trusting in God's promises even when circumstances seem uncertain or difficult. It means believing that God's plan is greater than our understanding. Imagine walking in a dense fog, unable to see more than a few steps ahead. In life, we often face situations where we can't see the road ahead clearly. It's during these moments that our faith is put to the test. But just as a person walking in the fog relies on each step they take, we can rely on God with every step we take in our faith journey. The Bible tells us that faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen (Hebrews 11:1). It's like having a confident assurance in God's promises e
