HIS NAME HAS POWER IN
ALL THREE WORLDS: Daily Devotional

Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth - (Philippians 2:9-10).

If Jesus really did give us the legal right, that is, authority, to use His name, what results should we expect from using His name? What is so important about the name of Jesus? What does His name represent and why should we have so much faith in Jesus' name?

We have the answer in our first scripture. Notice the construction; is absolute.

It says, "At the name of Jesus every knee shall bow"; that is a sovereign decision, a law in the realm of the spirit. Hallelujah! This sovereign decree applies in heaven, on earth and under the earth (in hell). His name has power in the three worlds; this power is applied to "things," that is, everything that exists in the three worlds; be it thrones, governments, galaxies, principalities, powers, rulers of the darkness of this world or in high places; all are subject to His Name.

This is extraordinary! Explains why you shouldn't be nervous about anything in life. It doesn't matter what Satan and his hosts of hell are up to; You can neutralize their efforts and undo their works in Jesus name. Let us recall part of what we read in Philippians 2:9-10: “of the things under the earth”; it means beings, things, or anything that exists in hell.

No wonder Jesus told us that we should "heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons..." ( Matthew
10:8). The reason is that even if a man went to hell, you could call him back because the name of Jesus Christ has power in heaven, on earth and in hell.

Hallelujah!

His Plans Are Good - Daily Devotional

Verse: Jeremiah 29:11 (NIV) "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." Devotional: Today, let us take comfort in the assurance that our heavenly Father has plans for us, plans that are filled with goodness and hope. It's easy to become anxious or uncertain about the future, but God's Word reminds us that His intentions for our lives are nothing short of remarkable. In Jeremiah 29:11, we discover a promise that speaks directly to our hearts. God is not a distant observer of our lives; He is intimately involved, and His plans for us are purposeful. Even when circumstances appear challenging, we can trust that God's intentions are for our ultimate well-being. In times of uncertainty, we often question what the future holds. However, God invites us to place our trust in Him, the One who knows the end from the beginning. As we do so, we can find peace in the know...

The Goodness of God - Daily Devotional

Verse: Psalm 100:5 (NIV) - "For the Lord is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations." Devotional: Today, let us reflect on the profound truth that God is good. His goodness is not contingent on our circumstances, but it remains constant, unwavering, and eternal. In Psalm 100:5, we are reminded that the Lord's goodness is inseparable from His enduring love, and His faithfulness transcends generations. As you begin your day, consider the goodness of God in the light of your own life. Think about the moments when His goodness has been evident, whether through answered prayers, unexpected blessings, or moments of divine guidance. God's goodness surrounds us, and even in challenges, there is a purpose that unfolds through His love. In times of joy, acknowledge the goodness of God with gratitude. In times of trial, trust in His goodness, knowing that He works all things for the good of those who love Him (Romans 8:28). Take a ...
