Please God With Your Life: Daily Devotional

And Enoch lived sixty and five years, and begat Methuselah: And Enoch walked with God after he begat Methuselah three hundred years, and begat sons and daughters - (Genesis 5:21-22).

What we study in our subject matter scripture tells you the kind of man Enoch was; he was a prophet of God. He was the prophet of God who noticed the visio and prescient of the Lord`s coming with ten lots of His saints: “And Enoch also, the 7th from Adam, prophesied of those, saying, Behold, the Lord cometh with ten lots of his saints, To execute judgment upon all, and to persuade all which can be ungodly amongst them of all their ungodly deeds which they want ungodly committed, and of all their tough speeches which ungodly sinners have spoken in opposition to him” (Jude 1:14-15). Hebrews 11:5 says, “By faith, Enoch was translated that he mustn`t see death; and wasn't found, due to the fact God had translated him: for earlier than his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God.”

Enoch was held to heaven alive and in no way died. The Bible says that earlier than his translation into heaven, he had the testimony that he pleased God. How does one please God? The way to please God is on foot through faith, for the Bible says, “Without faith, it`s not possible to please God” (Hebrews 11:6). you will inform nowadays whether or not or now no longer you`re alluring to the Lord; the query you would like to reply is, “Are you on foot through faith or sensory perceptions?”

Faith is engaged at the Word; it`s doing God`s Word. Enoch knew he please God due to the fact he changed into a doer of the Word. James 1:22 says, “But be ye doers of the word, and now no longer hearers only, deceiving your very own selves.” It`s much like what Jesus stated in John 14:15: “If ye love me, preserve my commandments.” The thank you to expose you want God is doing His Word, and faith works through love.

Learn to influence inside the mild of God`s Word. In Colossians 1:10 NIV, Paul through the Spirit, prayed, “… which you simply might also additionally stay a lifestyles warrant the Lord and please him in each way: bearing fruit in each appropriate work, developing inside the know-how of God.” that is frequently fulfilled for your life as you live every day by faithfor the just shall live by faith (Romans 1:17, 2 Corinthians 5:7, Galatians 3:11). Hallelujah!

What is the favor of God, and how can I get it? - Bible Teachings

The concept of the favor of God is found throughout the Bible, and it generally refers to God's kindness, grace, and blessings bestowed upon individuals. Here are some key teachings on the favor of God and how to attain it: 1. Seek God's Will: Proverbs 3:5-6 advises us to trust in the Lord with all our hearts and not rely on our understanding. When we seek and align ourselves with God's will, we are more likely to receive His favor. 2. Humility: The Bible often emphasizes the importance of humility. In James 4:6, it is said that God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble. Humility opens the way for God's favor in our lives. 3. Faith: Hebrews 11:6 teaches that without faith, it's impossible to please God. Trusting in God's promises and having faith in His goodness can attract His favor. 4. Obedience: God's favor is often linked to obedience to His commandments. Deuteronomy 28:1-2 states that if we diligently obey the voice of the Lord, H

His Plans Are Good - Daily Devotional

Verse: Jeremiah 29:11 (NIV) "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." Devotional: Today, let us take comfort in the assurance that our heavenly Father has plans for us, plans that are filled with goodness and hope. It's easy to become anxious or uncertain about the future, but God's Word reminds us that His intentions for our lives are nothing short of remarkable. In Jeremiah 29:11, we discover a promise that speaks directly to our hearts. God is not a distant observer of our lives; He is intimately involved, and His plans for us are purposeful. Even when circumstances appear challenging, we can trust that God's intentions are for our ultimate well-being. In times of uncertainty, we often question what the future holds. However, God invites us to place our trust in Him, the One who knows the end from the beginning. As we do so, we can find peace in the know

Walking By Faith - Daily Devotional

Verse: "For we walk by faith, not by sight." - 2 Corinthians 5:7 (ESV) Devotional: As Christians, our journey is one of faith. We are called to walk by faith, not by what we see or understand with our natural senses. This can be both a challenging and a rewarding path. Walking by faith means trusting in God's promises even when circumstances seem uncertain or difficult. It means believing that God's plan is greater than our understanding. Imagine walking in a dense fog, unable to see more than a few steps ahead. In life, we often face situations where we can't see the road ahead clearly. It's during these moments that our faith is put to the test. But just as a person walking in the fog relies on each step they take, we can rely on God with every step we take in our faith journey. The Bible tells us that faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen (Hebrews 11:1). It's like having a confident assurance in God's promises e
