Make Time for God: Daily Devotional

“Give ear to my words, O Lord, consider my meditation. Hearken unto the voice of my cry, my King, and my God: for unto thee will I pray. My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O Lord; in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up.” Psalms 5:1-3 (KJV)

Making enough time each day to meet with God is sure to lead to your breakthrough. There was something King David did that help him to enjoying victory from time to time. It was about the quality of time spent with God. He spent time in fellowship with God in the mornings, meditating on God's Word. There were times when he prayed three times a day (Psalm 55:17).

My beloved, do not rush to work or any activity in the morning without first praying. A Christian's prayer life is his lifeline; The moment you stop praying, you begin to die (Luke 18:1). You cannot succeed by your own grace or power; Therefore, make time to pray and meditate on the Word of God, and God will cause you to walk in victory and enjoy success after success. Hallelujah! Be a winner!
